A flash fiction game. Are you up for it?
Do you write Flash fiction? Consider giving this one a try.
The rules are simple. Using this image as your start, write a fiction between 250 and 1000 words and make a Substack post of it. Then paste the link to your post in the comments here between Jan 17 and Jan 24. Then between Jan 25 and Jan 31 share the ones you personally like best.
There is no prize beyond getting your flash fiction in front of other writers who write it and having them share it to their readers, and getting to compare your flash fiction to theirs.
Remember to copy the image and add it to your post as what you are basing your story on. The image was created with using the NightCafe AI so you can share it freely.
