Chapter 21 Troubled Morning

“I don’t do black men,” Miray said in a sour voice. “And while Honey might, I doubt Candy will, either.”

Donald looked up from buckling on his weight suit at that cold, frank statement and stared at her. That one of the crew was Nigerian, appeared to be the only objection Miray had to doing an orgy if he wanted her too.

He respected Emeka’s skill, attention to detail, and sense of humor. Suppressing an angry retort, he continued buckling on his weight suit in silence.

It had been a surprise to find eateries and social club limited to Whites, Asians, Africans or Indians when he arrived on Mars. He expected to leave all that back home on earth when he came here, not find racism more openly practiced.

Looking at her still naked in his bed, it tempted him to try to push her into it if there being a black man involved was her only objection. But he had five years he would have her around and picking a fight wasn’t in his best interest.

She hopped out of bed and grabbed her newest catsuit the sponsors provided her. “I’ve been skipping too many of your hall runs. I’ll go with you and trigger our net cast. The drones are here and charged. That will let us get the software tweaked a bit more.”

While what she said was true, he found it more likely she was joining him because she just turned down his friends.
