Chapter 41 Breakfast at Fong’s

“Where is your harem?” Chia-Hao Fong said as he set the tea down in front of Donald.

The middle-aged Chinese man teasing him was so unusual that Donald froze in place at a loss for words.

“Harem?” said Fernandez, the man he was meeting here for breakfast. “I thought those girls from the party had left for earth.”

“All but my co-host has.”

“They were not even gone before lover boy here replaced them with fresh meat from earth.”

There was something nasty in the tone of the teasing, but Donald didn’t understand why.

He explained, “A couple of woman doctors from earth decided that I am a safer date than someone from their own countries.” 

“I thought you were living with that cute co-host of yours.”

“She was the one who initially invited them over. I will be glad when we get my place built, and she is living there instead of with me.”
