Vikings of Asgard Chapter 5 Attack on a Spanish Fort

Now it is time to go after some gold, but to get it they will have to kill

A loud buzzing, unlike any Don heard before, woke him from his exhausted sleep. He squinted against the glare of all the barracks lights.

“Kill that damn alarm.” DC’s anger dripped from his voice. “What time is it?”

Don reached for his watch, but Jason answered before he had it, “5:15 local time.”

“Fuck.”

The alarm shut off.

Into the silence, Willie asked, “Is that bacon?”

As soon as he said something, Don noticed the savory aroma too, as did his stomach.

“Indeed it is,” King Peter said, standing in the doorway. “Get dressed; breakfast is on the table. We have a lot to do today.”

 Don strapped on his 1911. It struck him then, that getting dressed here meant getting armed. Even Jason was armed.
